I have a friend who will come to me from Ghana to Sweden. What shall we be aware of if she is planning to stay for weeks or months, even maybe for years?

Well, if she wants to come for a few weeks, that would require a tourist visa. if she wants to come for a few YEARS, that is immigration and is MUCH more difficult. you could contact the immigration services in Sweden and get the specifics for her. you can also search for info on the website below. there is no embassy of Sweden in Ghana…the embassy in Nigeria covers for Ghana.
